With ordinary garage doors, it is easy to get your finger caught between the panels when opening and closing. ALUTECH doors have a special panel design that leaves only a minimal gap, so even a child's finger can't get between the panels.

With ALUTECH gates, anti-pinch protection is a standard feature on all series, so our customers are always protected.

The sectional door panels consist of an outer and inner steel plate with a heater between them. It is possible that the steel plates are not joined together. The presence of a connection between the steel plates is called a "cold bridge".

But there is a downside to this solution - the steel plates form a solid closed loop. And this has a significant advantage - protection against fouling. We explain that when the gate is lowered, the bottom panel presses against the top like a wedge, and this forms a closed loop that does not allow the panel to expand under load. Thanks to this configuration, the shape of the panels remains stable. As a result, the gates retain their original appearance, have high resistance to vibration and wind loads, and are protected from settling during the entire life of the gates when closed suddenly. This is the design of ALUTECH gate panels. Incidentally, a similar panel design is used by many European door manufacturers. And we are talking about manufacturers, including those from Northern Europe and Scandinavia,

Although the single "cold bridge" panel is slightly warmer than the closed circuit panels, it is worth bearing in mind that the thermal insulation of the door is a complex indicator. It is influenced by the thickness of the sections, the design of the material and seals around the perimeter of the door, the density of the door relative to the opening, etc.

For Trend doors, the thickness of the guide profiles is 1.2 mm and the thickness of the corner posts is 0.8 mm. At the same time, the Trend gate frame is the most durable on the market. The required level of rigidity is achieved through several technological solutions:

  • 2 mm thick corner brackets with reinforcements, installed on every 50 cm of the corner post;
  • The corner post profile has a special shape of stiffeners;

Such an integrated approach guarantees high strength characteristics.

We do not recommend the installation of gates in dark shades on the sunny side of buildings. It is a well-known fact that dark colours "attract" the sun, and as a result dark surfaces are much warmer. Garage doors are no exception to this rule, if the temperature is consistently 40°C or above, there can be a significant temperature difference between the inside and outside of the panels, which can reduce their lifespan and even lead to deformation of certain parts.

If the dark colour of the gate is in keeping with the façade of your building, we recommend ordering reinforcing profiles for your gate. This is particularly true for gates with a width of over 3.5 metres. Reinforcing profiles can also be useful if your door is exposed to high wind loads, but are also popular in regions where the ambient temperature is low but the garage is heated.

The goalpost fall protection protects the goalpost from falling off in the event of torsion or tension springs breaking. The protection mechanism is different for different spring types.

The tension springs are equipped with 2 springs of different diameters, 4 in total. If one of the springs breaks, the other three will have enough load capacity to hold the goalpost in place, and the broken spring will not fall out of place causing possible damage.

In the case of torsion springs, a special ratchet switch protects against detachment. If the spring breaks, the clutch immediately stops the movement of the spring shaft, which also blocks the movement of the gate.

ALUTECH gates have gate leaf fall protection as a standard accessory, also available for gates with tension and torsion springs at no extra charge. Such protection mechanisms comply with European safety requirements EN12604 and 12453.

Once the gates are installed, they must be accepted - to appreciate the work of the installers. This will ensure there are no unpleasant surprises afterwards.

Its activities and evaluation criteria should be:

  1. Check the gate carefully - there should be no visible damage to the saw blade and all parts - scratches, dents, chips.
  2. Ask the installers to demonstrate the gate's performance - the gate should move smoothly and quietly, without jamming or jerking, both manually and automatically. Check the gate's performance by performing five "raise and lower" cycles of the blade.
  3. Raise the gate to about half the height of the opening and release it. The gate must remain in the same position. If the gates are automated - they must be opened before inspection - they must be set to manual control mode.
  4. Lightly press the top and then the bottom panel on the outside of the gate. Make sure there are no gaps between the blade and the opening.
  5. Check that the protective film has been removed from the panels. If other finishing work is planned in the garage or on the facade of the building after the gate has been installed, remove the film no later than 7 days after the gate has been installed. This is really necessary, as the film will then adhere so tightly to the panels that it is virtually impossible to remove it without leaving a trace.
  6. Obtain the documents for the gate from the installation team representative: user manual and product passport, as well as a record of the installation date and the stamp of the organisation that carried out the installation.
  7. Check the door number on the passport against the number on the product plate (located on the inside of the door, on the second or third panel below). Correctly completed documents are the key to extending the installer and manufacturer's warranty on the door.
  8. Once a year during the operation of the gate, the dealer's representatives should be called to carry out servicing - this is a prerequisite for maintaining the manufacturer's warranty on the product. In addition, it should be remembered that timely service is much cheaper than repair. The servicing of the gate should be entrusted to qualified professionals - ALUTECH authorised representatives who are familiar with the characteristics of the gate design and have extensive experience in the field of installation and maintenance.

One of the advantages of sectional doors is their high thermal insulation and compactness, which allows them to be used regardless of the weather, region or season.

However, in the cold season, there are subtle differences in the way the gate works.

  1. During night and daytime temperature changes, ice formation is possible on the lower part of the gate when the meltwater is close to the gate during the day and freezing at night. In order to avoid damage to the bottom seal and to avoid interruptions in the operation of the electric drive, which tries to "break" the edges of the gate from the ice crust, it is advisable to take only a few minutes to clear the ice before lifting the gate. Use a non-rough tool to avoid damaging the decorative coating on the seals and sections.
  2. If the gate is equipped with a built-in gate and if there is a lot of snow, it is advisable to clear the space in front of the garage before opening the wing. This will make it easier to open the gate and prolong its life.
  3. Check that there is no ice in the guides, i.e. the way the cylinders move. The high humidity in the room can cause ice to form when cold air enters the garage when the door is opened. To keep the door working and running smoothly, the ice in the guides should be cleaned with a non-abrasive tool.
  4. Remove ice and snow from under the gate. When you open the gate again and again in this zone, a small layer of snow or ice can form, which only grows over time. The electric actuator detects this ice as a barrier. This leads to the release of the safety mechanism: when the gate comes into contact with the ice, the drive opens the gate and detects that it is in contact with foreign objects.
  5. In the event of heavy snowfall, the light must also be removed from the cells to avoid errors in their operation.

Following these simple tips will help prevent premature wear or malfunction of door components, while reducing operating costs.

Before measuring the opening, the level of the clear floor (zero point) must be determined. The best situation is when the gates are installed with a finished floor in the opening. All dimensions of the opening are determined from zero.

The opening should be measured from the inside of the room, as the gate is mounted on the inside surface:

The aperture is measured in 3 heights (extreme left, extreme right, centre) and widths (extreme top, extreme bottom, centre). When ordering a gate, you must specify the maximum size of the opening in width and height, these distances will be the individual dimensions of the future gate.
Emphasize that you must first specify the width of the opening, then the height of the opening in mm. For example, if the width of the opening is 3000 mm and the height is 2000 mm, then the individual door size will be 3000 × 2000 mm.

Also measure the jumper (at the extreme left, extreme right points, in the middle) and the side walls (at the extreme top, lowest points, in the middle). In this case, however, when ordering a gate, you must specify the minimum value of each parameter. Please note that the installation of the gate requires a minimum area of 100 mm for the lintel and 125 mm for the side walls. It is desirable that the height of the lintel is at least 210 mm, which will allow an optimal installation of the gate without additional margin, automating them both at the installation stage and afterwards. The lintel and the side parts must be free of communication (ventilation, water and heating). If these requirements are not met in the door, be sure to tell the representatives of the company where you intend to order the door.
You should also check the vertical position of the walls of the opening through the floors of the building. In the event that these surfaces of the room deviate from the horizontal or vertical plane by 1.5 mm/m, for a total of more than 5 mm, you will need to implement the opening (link to the corresponding question in this section).
These recommendations are basic. In order to take into account the specific characteristics of the opening and to choose the optimal product for your garage, we recommend you to contact the ALUTECH authorized representatives in your region.

Our monitors emit light from their screens, and the objects around us, including the image on the screen, reflect a spectrum of the light that falls on them. The human eye perceives emitted and reflected light differently, with the result that the same image on the monitor and on the screen will look slightly different.

There are also technical aspects that affect the colour display of monitors: individual settings, screen type (glossy or matt), manufacturer. Remember that the picture is different in a home improvement store when TVs are broadcasting the same programme one after the other.

In addition, our monitors have a resolution of 72-96 pixels (dots) per inch, and the resolution of the printed image is 150, 300 or more. It turns out that the dot on the monitor is much larger than the dot on the canvas.

So the same image may be perceived differently on the monitor and on the door panel.

In addition to its unique decorative properties, digital printing on Prestige doors is characterised by high resistance to the environment and mechanical stress.

Prestige sectional doors with digital printing have a general warranty of 2 years.

The door leaf is guaranteed against rust for 10 years.

Such high indicators are achieved by using high quality and proven materials:

  1. The production process uses high-quality ultraviolet ink from European production. During the photopolymerisation process, a special layer is formed on the sandwich panel, thanks to which the panel does not absorb the ink and the image remains bright and colourful for a very long time.
  2. The special varnish protects the image from ultraviolet radiation. Tests have shown that the image stays vibrant and contrasty for at least 10 years.

The varnish also protects the surface from mechanical damage and environmental influences.

This gives the Prestige range of doors a digital print with a bright, memorable finish, high quality and durability.

Digital printing is used for the Prestige series sectional garage doors.

The digital printing technology allows the panel to be coated with drawings: S - corrugation, M - ripple, L - wavelength, for microwave and cassette panels.

The panel embossing can be smooth (plain) or Woodgrain (woodgrain).

To achieve maximum image quality and clarity, the Alutech Group recommends the following panels for digital printing: M - corrugated, L - corrugated and plain (smooth).

The wide range of applications for roller shutter doors is due to their space requirements, making the technology ideal for use in garages, shopping centres or even warehouses as an entrance and internal partition. The main difference compared to conventional roller shutters on windows is that the profiles of the doors are made of wider and more durable aluminium (19 mm thick and 77 mm high), so they can be installed in openings up to 7 m wide.

The main material used in the manufacture of roller shutters - aluminium strip - provides high resistance to corrosion, atmospheric precipitation, temperature extremes, guarantees strength, reliability and environmental friendliness. Filling the profiles with high quality and uniform foams, without voids or cavities, protects the profiles from deformation during operation.

The paint on ALUTECH roller shutters consists of two layers, which together form a protective layer of about 30 microns on the profiles. The coating consists of a primer and the PUR-PA layer. The primer helps the paint to adhere to the aluminium, while the PUR-PA enamel layer, which contains polyamide particles, protects the paint from scratches, cracks and UV radiation. The coating protects for up to 10 years of daily use.

Before tightening the springs, check that the ratchet clutch latch is secured by a pin (wire, nail). After tightening the springs and checking the balance of the doors, remove the latching locking pin.

If the ratchet clutch is engaged when the springs are tensioned, to release the latch, the spring must be turned away from itself (to the wall) at an angle sufficient to release the latch. Release the latch to the locking pin bore in the ratchet bracket and secure with the pin. Tighten the springs, check the balance of the door and remove the pin.

The purpose of the retaining rings is to prevent movement of the shaft along its axis during operation of the door.

The latch rings on the garage door are mounted on both sides of the intermediate support, 1-2 mm from the inner race of the bearing.

On industrial doors, retaining rings are fitted on both sides of the intermediate support, 1-2 mm from the inner race of the bearing. The retaining rings may also be fitted to the outside of the side mounting brackets attached to the support posts, at a distance of 1-2 mm from the bearing frame support.

ALUTECH sectional door panels are 45 mm thick. The same panel is used for garage and industrial doors.

The micro switches, which disable the electric drive in case of a spring or cable break, are included in the ALUTECH standard industrial door kit and are not included in the additional price.

If an industrial door is fitted with a Marantec bulk electric operator, micro switches with cable break protection must be fitted to the ratchet clutch brackets and bottom brackets to switch off the electric operator in case of an emergency (spring break, breakage or cable de-energisation).
When using the Nice bulk electric drive, the micro-switches shall be installed only on the lower brackets with cable-break protection device. The reason for this is as follows. When installing the Nice bulk electric drive on industrial sectional doors, the micro switches are not installed on the brackets with a safety buffer clutch, as the function of the Nice drives is to control the force applied. When the spring breaks, a ratchet clutch is activated which blocks the torsion shaft, preventing the door leaf from falling. If a certain value of the applied force is exceeded to lower the door leaf, the electric actuator is automatically disengaged.

ALUTECH panoramic doors use transparent acrylic inserts to fill the openings, which remain transparent for a long time.

The design of the profiles allows for the quick replacement of damaged elements without first dismantling the frame during the dismantling of the infill. This is achieved by fixing with glazing profiles.

The cost of roller shutters depends on their size and the type of installation; profiles and types of roller shutters; guide rails, colour scheme and control method.

The ALUTECH roller shutter colour range is divided into standard and non-standard colours.

The average production time for standard flowers is 3 working days, for non-standard flowers - 21 working days. However, delivery time may vary depending on the number of structures requested and the place of delivery.

Roller shutters for external and internal use are no different and the final cost depends on the parameters chosen: type of installation, size, profile type and box, colour and control mechanism.

The fundamental difference between the two types is the purpose of the installation. Grille systems, compared to traditional types, are of a much higher security class, so their main function is to protect your valuables. Traditional roller shutters mainly protect against the weather and only provide a basic level of intrusion protection.

The roller shutter grilles are of anti-burglary class P3-P4 according to GOST P 52502-2012. In addition, there is a special solution in our range, which is P5 certified, i.e. resistant to hurricanes.

Yes, it is possible with ALUTECH engines. By automating the shutter grilles, you can open all the grilles instantly at the touch of a button, but also custom programming is possible, according to the user's needs.

Loading and unloading with the power switched off is strictly forbidden . Switching off the power will cause the hydraulic system to lock, resulting in the platform not adjusting to the height difference of the vehicle body when the loader passes. A weighted load in the off position may cause damage to the equipment.

In the event of a sudden power failure and after the power supply to the platform has been switched off, the hydraulic system must be opened manually. To do this, set the control unit switch to position "I" and press the lift basket button.

Loading and unloading operations on the levelling platform while driving are prohibited as this may lead to equipment failure.

The main difference between the SL (tilting tongue) and TL (telescopic ramp tongue) models is the ramp extension mechanism.

The tilting tongue technology works as follows: when the control button is held down, the electro-hydraulic system lifts the ramp leveller to the highest position and automatically tilts the ramp tongue. The ramp leveller is then lowered smoothly onto the vehicle and forms a special bridge for access to the machinery.

The mechanism of the telescopic ramp arm allows the ramp arm extension to be adjusted according to the vehicle load and ensures the accuracy of its positioning on the truck. The extended telescopic foot compensates for the distance required to the vehicle platform by up to 1000 mm when the platform is mounted in front of the door. This ensures maximum thermal insulation of the warehouse. The one metre long ramp is also used for the maintenance of trains or other side-loading vehicles.

For SL and TL series ramps, the maximum permissible load is 60 kN, i.e. 6 tonnes. However, the use of loading equipment with small or hard material wheels increases the point load, so different maximum loads are specified depending on the type of vehicle.

The steel thickness is 6/8 mm and 8/10 mm for SL and TL ramp levellers respectively. Steel grade: S235 according to EN 10025

As part of the standard equipment, the ramps are filled with Renolin B HVI ISO VG 22 oil, which can be used down to -15°C. In colder weather, the unit can also be refilled with Renolin MR 310 HVLPD 15 oil, which can be used down to -40°C.

Renolin hydraulic oil is produced by the German company FUCHS, which ensures high quality.

Balancing electrohydraulic platforms are not subject to mandatory certification in the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation and Ukraine. However, platforms are required to provide a declaration of compliance with the standards.

All new products we offer to the market are initially developed to the highest international standards and are subject to numerous internal and external tests in independent laboratories. The ALUTECH SL and ALUTECH TL levelling platforms are designed to take into account the requirements of all the directives of the European standards. Therefore, the products comply with European Union directives, Customs Union technical specifications and national standards of Ukraine, which are confirmed by the relevant declarations.

The warranty period for the main product is 2 years. The warranty period for parts is differentiated:

  • 2 years for the control unit;
  • 1 year for hydraulic stations, cylinders and high pressure hoses.

The warranty period is calculated from the date of transfer of the product to the buyer.

In the factory, 100% quality control is ensured . 10 delivery cycles on each platform are put through a special rack where the health of all systems is checked.

In the event of a sudden power failure and after the power supply to the platform has been switched off, the hydraulic system must be opened manually. To do this, set the main switch of the control unit to position "I" and keep the lift basket button pressed for 1-2 seconds (in case of sudden power failure, these operations must be performed after the power supply has been restored).

When the hydraulic system is released, it is forbidden to place any object on the platform.

Loading and unloading with the levelling platform switched off is strictly prohibited as it may lead to equipment failure.

Alutech's handling equipment includes platforms with individual lengths of 2000-4500 mm (with an angle of 500 mm) and widths of 1750-2250 mm (with an angle of 250 mm).

However, the actual (overall) dimensions can be 70-150 mm larger, depending on the series and model of the platform. Rounded order sizes simplify the ordering process for customers.

When preparing the pits, use technical documentation and drawings for your Alutech refilling equipment.

The SSK side seal kit is delivered to a customer mounted on a leveling stand at the factory.

If you need to install a sealing kit on an already installed platform, it can be ordered as a separate product (the SSK is delivered in the size of the platform).

The seal installation process consists of the following steps:

Raise the platform to the highest position and switch off the control unit (turn the switch from "I" to "0"). It is forbidden to be under the platform in this position !
Remove the protective foil from the sealant adhesive tape and stick it on the platform as shown in the picture below (it must be 8 mm from the top of the weld to the sealant):

Drill 2 holes ⌀5-5,2 mm and install 2 steel rivets 5×10 (St) DIN 7337, following the tolerances shown in the picture below (the tolerance of 37 mm at the back of the platform can be increased, as this point may be blocked by the pit wall):

Set the main switch of the control unit to "I" and hold the lift basket button pressed for 1-2 seconds when installing the platform in the subsequent parking position.

When installing gaskets, take safety precautions and necessary safety precautions into account.

The warranty period for ALUTECH DSF Folding Door Seals is 2 years from the date of delivery of the product to the customer or from the date of manufacture if the date of delivery is unknown.

The total lifetime of the product is unlimited and depends on the conditions of use.

Continuous quality control at all stages of production - from the sourcing of raw materials to the final inspection of finished products - ensures that products of consistently high quality are produced.

If you choose an opening awning seal with a folding frame, ALUTECH DSF:

  • Make sure that the door is smaller than the size of the individual sealant. The maximum size of the opening must be at least 90 mm wider and at least 45 mm higher than the dimensions of the sealant ordered.
  • Note the presence of glasses or a hinged roof at the installation site. If the forklift is not parked properly, the front of the sealing frame will fold and lift. The canopy must be at least 150 mm from the sealant roof (for sealant 600 mm deep).
  • Compare the size of the vehicle with the size of the opening. Please note that the optimum overlap of the tents on the car body should be 150-200 mm.

The standard ALUTECH DSF compartment seal design provides effective protection for cargo and crew against adverse weather conditions:

  • the slope of the upper ceiling with a 10° lead prevents the accumulation of precipitation;
  • the front profiles have protruding guttering to ensure drainage of water on the sides of the structure.

The effectiveness of an opening seal depends on the correct choice of its dimensions based on the size of the vehicles used.

For installations where only Eurotrucks are served, an ALUTECH DSF sealant can be used, which has the following characteristics:

  • height - 3400 mm;
  • width - 3400 mm;
  • depth - 600 mm;
  • height of the upper tent - 1000 mm;
  • width of side awnings - 600 mm.

This solution ensures that the opening is closed and the cargo is effectively protected from adverse conditions.

When ordering an ALUTECH DH refilling stand with profiled sheet or sandwich panel cladding, the standard delivery kit includes wall-mounted rails with low spray on the side of the platform, roof and wall joint frame corners. These elements provide reliable draught and rain protection.

When designing the loading ramp, it should be borne in mind that the length of the space required for manoeuvring and parking the truck should be twice the length of the truck, with a width of two metres. Most road trains equipped with trailers are limited to a length of 18 m. So an 18 m long lorry must have free space on a 38 m long ramp.

If this space is limited, the workflow can be organised by securing the pallet truck at an angle .

The ALUTECH DH refilling platform with sandwich panels provides excellent sealing and thermal insulation of the refilling station. It protects personnel and equipment from precipitation and other adverse weather conditions.

A profiled plate is placed over the sandwich panels on top of the hallway to prevent water from entering the room where the panels intersect.

Rainfall removal is also ensured by the 5° forward slope of the roof of the vestibule and the guttering.

Refilling lobbies can be located close to each other. However, such a decision to park trucks next to adjacent columns may cause difficulties for warehouse staff and the transporter when opening the body and cab doors. Therefore, it is recommended in the design to have a minimum distance of 4000 mm between the axles of the transhipment columns . This will ensure unobstructed and convenient opening of the truck body doors and cab doors for free access by the driver.
